Adventurous Couples Session | Wyoming Couples Photographer
Like many photographers, I always love to do an adventurous couples session! Adventure sessions allow couples to really connect and create memories together as they explore beautiful locations. It allows me to capture all the small, intimate moments you might have missed with your significant other! Grand Teton National Park is one of my favorite places to recommend to couples who are ready to have their epic love photographed!
The Best Couples Session
Sam & Leilani were such a fun, playful & energetic couple to work with! These two are completely head over heels in love with each other, which was completely obvious throughout their entire couples photoshoot. They have been together since high school and are both from Oahu!
Unique Lovers
Leilani is a photographer and freelance model! You can find all of her amazing work on her Instagram @anotherr.perspective. Sam plays guitar and really enjoys EDM music. They have known each other for seven years and say that each year gets a little sweeter.
A Laid Back Day
We started the day off by having lunch together at Sidewinders Grill in Jackson Hole, this gave me more time to get to know Sam & Leilani and hear their unique love story. We then walked around Jackson Town Square and hit up some of the fun gift stores and an art gallery! Couples sessions shouldn’t be limited to just the photographs, let’s have a little adventure of our own and tour the city!
Including more activities and time for an adventure leads to more authentic photos. Sticking to a tight schedule can cause a ton of unnecessary pressure, that’s why I love creating a laid back and relaxing atmosphere around my couples. This really allows me to tell the story of your relationship!
Worthwhile Pit Stops
MADE is a small shop that offers handmade items from over 360 artists and has quickly become a hotspot for Jackson Hole. A RARE Gallery is a stunning Contemporary Fine Art gallery that is also located in Jackson Hole. I highly recommend stopping by both of these amazing places and seeing what they offer. Who knows, you may find the perfect gift for someone you love!
Sunset at Jenny Lake
We then hopped in the car and drove to Grand Teton National Park and hiked around Jenny Lake just in time to catch the sunset. The views were unreal and it was the perfect location to capture the real and raw love between Sam + Leilani! We finished off our night with some chicken nuggets and mcflurries. Can you imagine anything more perfect than that? These two were such an honor to work with and I can honestly say I can’t wait to work with them again!
To me, there is so much more to a couples session than just the photos. This is just the beginning of our time together and creates memories you and your loved ones can cherish for many lifetimes.
